In our final installment of the series, Understanding the Mass, we learn about the Liturgy of the Eucharist and the Concluding Rites. It is in the Liturgy of the Eucharist that we have what makes Mass what it is, that is the sacrifice of Christ made present for us at the altar. At the words of consecration, the words that Jesus used at the last supper, He truly becomes present, and His sacrifice on the cross is made manifest for us, so we may glorify God, and receive His grace and blessing.
