As we continue the seven deadly sin series we reach our last two deadly sins and they are anger and lust. We have examples of these found in our Gospel passage. We talk about the sins as well as the virtues to counter them in order for us to overcome sinful behavior and to live in according to the loving plan that God has for all of us. We do not identify sins for the sake of beating up or blaming ourselves or others but rather to stir up a repentance and to seek the mercy and love of God and his forgiveness in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. This forgiveness we see as Jesus forgives the woman caught in adultery and he tells her to sin no more.
